A contact form is so ideal for a website. Especially for an actor. It makes you look professional and you can still keep your privacy by not having to show your email address on your site. Also - a contact form is a great tool against hackers, if they can't see your email address, they can't spam it. For extra protection, adding a "captcha" style box at the end of your form, really deters the spammers even more, as a computer has a hard time typing out a specific word.
There are a lot of ways to create a contact form, you can go the good old php route for ex... But recently I stumbled across a site called
JOTFORM. It's free and easy to use. It also has a ton of possibilities, both design wise and content wise. It allows you to embed your easily created form into your site in multiple ways, as a lightbox, an iframe and more.
Let's hope it lives up to my expectations!
